About the Workshop
Help pilot the first Mayura oracle offering!
In the Thresholds Oracle Journey, you’ll explore a three-stage creative process that culminates in the creation of your own oracle card. We’ll begin with a Solo Journey—a self-paced exploration where you gather images, scraps, and symbols that speak to you. Then, in the Guided Journey, we’ll meet live on Zoom to shape those fragments into a single meaningful image—your oracle card, a mirror of your inner world. Finally, you’ll receive a Continuing the Journey kit to deepen your relationship with your card and open the door to creating a personal deck of your own, if and when the time is right.
As the journey unfolds, you’ll discover how oracle imagery can help you reflect, gain clarity, and give form to your inner world. You will:
Explore the mythic language of oracle and learn how images can act as personal mirrors.
Connect the oracle process to your creative voice, discovering how symbolic imagery and personal expression inform one another.
Create your own card (using any medium you love—paint, collage, pencil, etc.).
Begin to experience card-making as a creative practice in itself, one that can grow into the ongoing work of developing your personal deck.
What to Expect
You’ll Receive:
Orientation (Zoom, 45 min): A live intro session with prompts and Q&A to help you get started.
Solo Journey (self-paced,
~2 weeks): Work with your Journey Deck to notice and gather symbols, images, and fragments that speak to you.Guided Journey (Zoom, 2 hours): A live small-group session where we shape your gathered fragments into a single oracle card.
Continuing the Journey Kit: Prompts and practices to deepen your relationship with your card and lay the groundwork for building a personal deck.

This is a pilot offering, so registration is free.
You’ll bring your own creative materials. Drawing skills are not required and any medium is welcome

I’m Tiffany Govender, the artist and creator behind Mayura. With a background in visual communications, fine art, and the humanities, I’ve spent years weaving together creative practice, depth psychology, alchemy, and philosophy into a system of tools, practices, and workshops for transformational inner journeys. Mayura grew out of my own search for balance, meaning, and creative renewal—and now I share that journey with others walking their own mythic paths.
