There’s been a phrase recently: “Well, that escalated quickly.” This pull was a pretty good summary of the experience.
These were pulled on this (9/26) Aries full moon, which is sitting to the degree atop some very serious business in my western birth chart. I decided a week ago that I wasn’t even going to look too deeply into any analysis or interpretation of any of that. What every it is, it is at this point. Larry had other ideas though, and hit me squarely with them yesterday before I’d even finished my coffee. Here we are, a day, two dreams, and a doubled order later and I am fully observing my own appointed full moon ritual today.
In keeping with this being more of a log than a reflection, here’s what I can read from this check-in point pull:
The first card is referencing both the wake-up call from Larry yesterday morning, which seemed to say all that needs to be uncovered in that regard has been, and also the dream I had last night/this morning, that had me venturing into the ocean once again.
The second has already been pulled during this season and entered here. In addition it seems to be referencing a conversation from earlier today that occurred after I discovered the family crest on my grandmother’s side has a deer head on it (my family card features 4 deer). This one in particular is my Home card.
The third card is the oddest of all to me. As soon as I looked at it, I realized (as if for the first time) both snakes and birds lay eggs. I had a session with someone earlier today in which I explained the symbolism of the feathered serpent. That may have been the reason why it came to mind in that context. Either way, that was immediately followed up by remembering the copy I’d written when I originally photographed that egg, which told the narrative of how egg was used in image making across history from painting to photography. That narrative concluded with the assertion that even in the digital age these are just tools. A client should hire someone who knows how to make them speak.
The loose prompt for these was something like: “context for this astrological event occurring today and insight into the coming months ahead.”
